Shipped features with no homepage presence, from the 2026-08-21 copy audit — 1 to 12 ranked by marketing weight, 13 to 16 added by a completeness pass. Vignettes are drawn in the site's clip idiom; body copy is written to lift straight onto the homepage. The small grey note under each is the caveat it must not cross, and is not page copy.

Grab an area, a window or the whole screen from any app — ⌃⇧1 to 4 — then mark it up: arrows, boxes, a blur over the sensitive bit. It lands in your vault with the untouched original kept beside it.
Missing #2 · internal — Needs Screen Recording permission plus one relaunch. Captures land in Sources since 0.8.3, not as notes. Copy Text OCR (incl. QR) and pin-to-screen ride along.
Hold Fn and talk, in any app on your Mac. Let go and the words are typed where your cursor is, with the corrections you have already taught it applied — transcribed on your Mac, like everything else.
Missing #3 · internal — Off by default; needs Accessibility permission; best with the 🌐 key set to “Do Nothing”. App docs still flag “needs on-device verification” — confirm before featuring.
Type :addr and get your whole address — in a note, or in every app on your Mac if you switch it on. Your existing text-expander shortcuts are imported the first time, and the set lives in your vault, so it follows you.
Missing #4 · internal — System-wide is opt-in (Accessibility, app must be running, stands down in password fields). No iOS expansion.
Seal a note behind Touch ID and it is encrypted on disk — and genuinely private: the AI cannot read a locked note, quote it, or so much as list its tasks. Everything else stays plain files you own.
Missing #5 · internal — Per-note by design, not whole-vault. Mac read/write, iPhone read-only. Biometric path never hardware-verified — soft-pedal Touch ID until it is. Natural home: the Privacy grid.
Ask out loud and hear the answer back, in a voice made on your Mac — British, if you like — then keep talking hands-free. The mic stays off while it speaks, so it never transcribes itself.
Missing #6 · internal — Mac only; ~192 MB one-time voice download, extra voices fetched once from GitHub. No barge-in — you cannot interrupt by talking.
Words the model was unsure of are flagged. Click one to hear just that moment and fix it — and the fix teaches a lexicon that corrects every meeting after. Your jargon, your names, spelt right from then on.
Missing #7 · internal — Mac only; lexicon AI adjudication needs macOS 26. This is the honest replacement for the journalist persona’s “quotes you can trust”.
Pull the ten stills that matter out of any recording — the slides, the chart, the whiteboard — and the writing in them is read too, so what was shown is as searchable as what was said.
Missing #8 · internal — Mac only, top 10 frames ranked by text density; no progress indicator while a pull runs.
A note, a recording or a screenshot, two clicks from anywhere — and a search that reaches your notes, tasks, contacts and sources without raising a window. Click a person, copy their number, done.

Watch the transcript appear under the waveform as you speak. And if the phone cannot finish the job, it does not have to: the take is parked in your vault and your Mac finishes it when you sit down.
Missing #10 · internal — Live draft is display-only until processing completes. Replaces the undersell “Record on the go, transcribe at home” (platforms.tsx:12) — the Mac, ironically, has no live tier yet.
Typed columns — dates, selects, people, checkboxes — with sorting, filters and a sum at the bottom, in what is still a CSV sitting in your folder. Import one from anywhere and the columns type themselves.
Missing #11 · internal — Mac only, no iPhone tables yet; board/calendar views of a table not shipped. Upgrades the existing “Tables & lists” tile (features-grid.tsx:44), which sells this as a plain CSV.
Install once and MindLake keeps itself current: every release signed end to end and checked before it runs, delivered straight from us. No store in the middle, because the agent needs a real Mac to live on.
Missing #12 · internal — Sparkle + EdDSA, notarized, shipped 0.8.2/0.8.3. The no-App-Store framing is deliberate (the sandbox forbids the CLI agent) — a trust story, not an apology.
Ask a question and it answers; ask for order and it goes and makes it — refiling strays, merging duplicates, reshaping a messy dump into sections and tasks — with a before-and-after diff for every note it touched. Your own Claude, working in your files.
Missing #13 · internal — Completeness pass: the wedge feature has no prose section — today it lives only in the hero demo blurb (live-app.tsx:659) and the terminal bullet. Mac only, off by default, needs your Claude sign-in/key or CLI. Review-each-change + ContentGuard + snapshots are real, but no audit-log or restore UI yet (roadmap Phase E) — only Clean note has one-tap undo. Don't promise undo beyond that.
Point a folder of your vault at a real git working tree and edits flow both ways: a note edit lands in the repo, a repo edit lands in the note. When both sides change, nothing merges silently — you see the differing lines, what each choice costs, and an AI merge that refuses to lose a single one.
Missing #14 · internal — Completeness pass: this is the TRUE git story — it replaces the Git clip the audit flagged as false (notes.tsx:65; no one-switch auto-commit repo exists). Real caveats: mirror.json is hand-authored (no Settings UI), locked notes stay out of the mirror.
Callouts become tinted boxes, code is highlighted in 26 languages, maths renders, and a mermaid block turns into a real diagram — all still plain text underneath, revealing its source only where your caret is.
Missing #15 · internal — Completeness pass: shipped across 0.4–0.8, never mentioned on the site. Caveat for privacy copy: mermaid + MathJax load from the jsDelivr CDN on first use — a network call. Code blocks over 20k chars stay plain; inline $…$ math deliberately unhandled.
A ring chart of your vault shows what is taking the room, folder by folder. Re-encode old recordings, shrink videos and images, trim the silences out of a take — and keep every word of every transcript intact.
Missing #16 · internal — Completeness pass: sunburst + optimise audio/video/images shipped 0.7–0.8.0(2); trim silence computes cuts from word timings so it can never clip speech. On the site only as a demo card (live-app.tsx:1449). Undownloaded iCloud files aren't measured by content.
